Hyperhidrosis is severe underarm sweating due to an over active sweat gland. I use topical roll on's and my doctor is saying I should try this procedure instead. It supposedly lasts for up to 6 months.
BOTOX for Hyperhidrosis? Anyone tried it? Pros vs Cons..?
I am not that familiar with Hyperhidrosis; however, I was able to locate some information for treatment options from Vanderbilt University. It seems that other than surgery, which can have other complications, Botox is a very good option.
Reply:I'VE HEARD OF IT...FROM WHAT I HEARD ITS PRETTY GOOD BUT COULD HAVE AFFECTS LIKE ANY OTHER THINGS DO AND IF I HAD HEYPERHIDROSIS I WOULDNT LIKE A NEEDLE IN MY ARMPITS
